Over the past 5 years, our filtration systems have advanced in both goal and capability. In September, we began installing the first wave of our 2nd Generation Filters in our farmers' homes. The first three weeks of testing showed very encouraging results and we should be ready for a full turnover by the end of the year.
Initially, our filtration goals were limited to making sure our farmers' plumbing was unaffected by the presence of a tuna in their bathtub. However, as we began filtering out the waste, we noticed the great potential of energy from the discarded biomass. After some intense research and a few failed (and fragrant) experiments, we pioneered the technology behind BathtubDiesel™.
Our 2nd Generation Filters clean the water for recycling back to the tuna, as well as preserving the chemical properties of the waste we extract from the water. The salinity of the tub is also controlled by the filter using two sensors to detect levels and raising or lowering the relative sodium ratios accordingly.
We're constantly getting feedback from farmers and partners for new technologies to incorporate into our filtration process to continue our quest for sustainability and upcycling. If you have any feedback, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
